Banksy at Glastonbury 2014, by Dungle on Jun 26, 2014 21:24:29 GMT 1, Jesus Ploppi, you come across as very cynical and bitter?, is there an underlying reason?. Lighten up and smile a bit, you may enjoy it. Im guessing not though. Not everyone who is loaded is a douche you know. Do you know the history of Glastonbury and where Eavis got the backing from to turn his small free festival into such a big money earner? Was it from Banksy?

They benefitted from having a big stand at the festy where mugs I mean greenies could sign up and give money to their non charity political lobbying organisation which was also sponsored by Dr Martens that well known footwear brand whose hot knife patented process produces dioxins as a by product.
Just some rumour I heard.

Banksy at Glastonbury 2014, by lha on Jun 26, 2014 21:58:20 GMT 1, yes that makes sense. Eavis is a puppet Jesus Ploppi, you come across as very cynical and bitter?, is there an underlying reason?. Lighten up and smile a bit, you may enjoy it. Im guessing not though. Not everyone who is loaded is a douche you know.
Not quite sure how Eavis is a puppet? Grew up near Glastonbury and first went to the festival in 1985. Back then locals and the local authority were constantly looking to get the festival closed down. They nearly succeeded on more than one occasion. Eavis always tried to keep the locals happy and made changes that the authorities demanded. It was a far from popular festival back then. Eavis kept his vision and his head and ploughed on through numerous challenges. Top chap in my eyes

Top chap in my eyes if you read the post It wa sin reference to the puppets in the meat truck being glove puppets not animatronics. I made a joke about Banksy being Inside the truck spying on the people.
and Eavis smug remark that his cows are the happeist cows in the country.
and wiz posting,
"Your arse is wrong, animatronics it is. Banksy isnt in truck. Eavis always was.
#probably."
So I replied that makes eavis a puppet as in a puppet in the truck
not a puppet in any other sense.
Fuck me are all you guys part of some stencil cult or something?

You have to go back quite a few years to get the full story from Greenpeace insiders
i'm not sure if EEC grants would have been given for a festival to be held on the land.
I thought it was to allow meadows and prevent butter mountains and milk lakes.

My misunderstanding then Ploppi, I apologise
Im part of a stencil cult but cant speak for the others as when we meet up everyone has to wear balaclavas so never seen any faces. There's a chap that turns up in wellies and a straw hat - I think that might be wiz but cant be certain because of the balaclava. I'm having a break at the moment though - its to hot to wear a balclava as we're having a half decent summer.

No need to apologise I wasn't offended.
the chap walking in front of the truck in the video had wellies and overalls and a stick but surely a farmer would be out of place at Glastonbury youth culture festival.
