I'm really not too sure. People seem to have got upset because they initially thought that some of his work was Banksy and he had the 'absolute nerve' to not come forward and claim it as his!
He's under no obligation to say anything. If people want to think his stuff might be a new Banksy then that's up to them.

But he knows how to cut and paint. Undeniable. He gets out there. If you don't like his work, fine. But I'll never get the vitriol targeted towards painters like him, JBoy, Cartrain etc. They're only spraying paint on other people's property.

I must admit that it was the Breivick piece that put me off this artist's work. If I could understand the point of that piece, it might help.
