I'd imagine it depends if John is around as to what you get but sure they will help you out at HG, I just asked him to sign it and he sat and drew the George on the inside

If so what sort of condition did it turn up in?
Mine just arrived in a bent envelope, all corners dog eared (excuse the pun), with the envelope held together by masking tape and the sketch stuck to the masking inside the envelope.
I'm slightly confused as to whether it was meant to arrive in that sort of condition?
Did anyone else order a blind sketch?

@streetkart I have emailed the gallery, and got a response within 2 minutes apologising and sending a replacement, so I would suggest this was just an unfortunate occurrence, and hopefully they will be packed slightly better now. Can't beat the gallery for response time and resolving the issue.

Had only known about John from seeing him outside Rainbow room, didn't realise he had a previous show. Picked up the book and have poured through it, about half-way in. It's an incredibly engrossing read, highly recommend.
Btw, he made 500 sketches for the show. That's a lot of work!

Photo doesn't really show the damage. They didn't even use an envelope, no sturdy cardboard and packing was to edge of the paper.
As I picked out my images I am not going to return them and they were only 50 pounds. But I got charged 25 pounds for that shipping? Oh well live and learn...

Then they sent the second one in exactly the same way as the first and it's bent up too!
Don't think they took my advice on how to send them out.
Anyhow will be giving it away on here with a donation to Johns charity from the winner. Not sure how it'll work yet.
