If you look at the breakdown, probably only £4-5 of it will be tax, the rest is an admin charge for them having to charge you the £4-5...  i've aways thought that was cheeky but what can you do!

Pretty standard, Fed Ex have a standard handling fee which they seem to charge whatever the cost.

Not sure if it still applies but you used to be able to call up and complain and they would wave the fee. Basically you need to say the print was only marked as $50 and then you are being asked to pay almost the same in fees. Make a fuss and hopefully it still works. I think they only allow you to do this once and log it on file. Worth a try or maybe others know it doesn't work any more

Like I said it only works once, but possibly worth a try in the future.
