It would be better for GP just say Kunstrasen has an edition of released today, but we have put aside a dozen for our mates, so good luck! Same for me, the button did not work.

Made a last second decision not to due to too many purchases lately. And I released them in a matter of seconds so people who wanted one could buy one. There were only 15 for sale, and probably hundreds, if not thousands, hoping to buy one. It really just comes down to luck and timing. I'd say 9 out of 10 times I haven't been able to buy something I've wanted to. I'm still sad that I missed out on Style Wars |

In any event, it was a very nice image, no wonder it sold out almost immediately. |

I've spent 4 hours F5ing once to score the Olly Moss Totoro print on Mondo on a random drop time. Now that's bloody annoying if you don't score one.

I'm really suprised they sold out that quick. No offense to Kunstrasen but he's new and not that well known. Good and nice suprise for him. There are many 1/1's on 1000's of gallery websites still for sale and unsold. Just because it's a 1 of 1 doesn't mean s**te.

Also, please kmow my comment is a general comment about adults coming on this forum anonymously and letting their inner spoiled brat come out in their rants about how the internet or above parties screwed them, when it really is a matter of simple math and market forces. Yes there are bots and friends of gallery owners etc that reduce ones chances... But that's life... Both real life and forum life... So let's all take a breath, chill out, and recognize that nastiness will only result in a net loss for the forum. Ok i hear you, but this image was from an up and comer that has had consecutive sellouts with Graffiti Prints. Further, those 1of 1's you speak of are generally either overpriced, undesireable, or un-hyped, or all three. My issue is with taking time out of my day to try and buy something that's advertised as 'Coming Soon' when it appears that it isn't coming at all! With Big Cartel the add to cart button appears, it then stays there until the person that carted the item has gone through the entire checkout/paypal process. Once the payment is successful the cart button disappears and it shows Sold Out, anyone else clicking add to cart during that time is told that the item is in someone elses cart. I have seen this and several other choice items on GP release days going from Coming Soon to Sold Out in the time it takes to press F5, no cart button appears, which suggests that the item was never available for sale!! I'm not even discussing the rights/wrongs of the above happening, if it is happening, all I'm saying is if something is not available for whatever reason it should either be marked as sold before the release or not listed at all, so that customers such as myself aren't wasting their time!

With Big Cartel the add to cart button appears, it then stays there until the person that carted the item has gone through the entire checkout/paypal process. Once the payment is successful the cart button disappears and it shows Sold Out, anyone else clicking add to cart during that time is told that the item is in someone elses cart. I have seen this and several other choice items on GP release days going from Coming Soon to Sold Out in the time it takes to press F5, no cart button appears, which suggests that the item was never available for sale!! I'm not even discussing the rights/wrongs of the above happening, if it is happening, all I'm saying is if something is not available for whatever reason it should either be marked as sold before the release or not listed at all, so that customers such as myself aren't wasting their time! I agree 100% if it is pre-sold it should never go on the release page or say sold out instead of coming soon. I WILL comment in the rights and wrongs of that happening... If that is happening then shame on whichever site is using the image to drive sales for other pieces, and wasting the customer's time. |

I'm not one of them nor care to be, but for transparency's sake there it is...there's no hype if it doesn't sell out. Better to presell a %, sell a % on the site while holding some back they can sell for more later.
