Not sure how many bottles of water this guy is looking at buying with all that $, but I hope his local "Walmart" have stocked up !!!

If whatever artist that prints sell for $6k market really wanted to help the water charity, they would sell the 500 prints at $6k and donate the money to the water charity. A $3million dollar donation would certainly make a difference vs whatever was raised with the tshirts + $500 per print.

I was in new york and happened by one of his galleries...lots and lots of material available at affordable prices. Many very very similar to higher end works.

I only buy what i like and perhaps love... Not sure what this print is going to look like. Besides not knowing what the print will look like there is also the history of this print. It is already smudged with nasty and weird feelings, even before the birth and release of the print. So i am not sure if this will be a print i could love.
Just curious for now. But not getting excited.

#A. Shipping from UK is cheapest which leads me to believe artist or printer is in the UK!
#B. Artists work as a print must at least be worth 400$ to charge $500 on a "charity website"
#C. ^^^Above price may come from a collaboration piece between 2 artists.
#D. 6k fear mongering for potential price encourages already faithful supporters not to miss out.
#E. 6k, How many artists BNE may know that are British, British based or use British printers that can command that price but could still sell the work at 500 in this edition size?? Banksy and Hirst are the only 2 that come to mind for me. (Please indicate others as I am still a rather less informed than others on here)
#F. 6k, could be down to hand finishing on prints so the basic value of the print is 500 lets say but the artist hand finishes allowing a justifiably sufficiently higher price at the same time. I don't think Hirst would do this (not that I know anything) but think artists like Gemeos, Invader and Eine could do!!
#G. Banksy seems to be a decent guy, seems to support charities etc.. also the last BNE thing may have actually been an accident or mistake or mis-communication between both Banksy and BNE (My actual opinion) plus artists friendly with both (Invader and Shep) would I have no doubt asked Banksy what the deal is. The fact that people would have bought the Bansky tshirts means that Banksy could get involved and offer those fans that hoped against hope a chance to get something cheaper, clear BNE's name and support charity.
