Regardless of what is in the account, PayPal offers buyer protection and will let a sellers account go into negative numbers as opposed to hurting a buyer who used their services. So again, Paying through PayPal was the safest way possible. I've had disputes on there before from shitty sellers, and they ALWAYS came through.

I dont believe much really as I have no clue how many Banksy fans there are and how many fans would pay 80 dollars for a tshirt. I also dont know how many fans knew about it since it wasnt on his website. You can probably times this number by 2 or 3 for people not posting on here but also just didnt vote. All this is conjecture and thats my point. How can anyone really create an argument that 3K shirts sold without any numbers, real numbers to back it up. I cant back up that only 500 were sold but looking at 77 votes makes me think that it atleast cant be 500 people just in this forum alone. |

Seems like everyone is getting aggy because they thought it might be a Banksy piece of art....it was never going to worth a fortune was it. No flipping to be had. Given Banksys public declarations and observations on capitalism i cant see how being associated with this would work. Banksy can raise awareness by doing things like the syria thing. Generating income doesnt fit with that approach. If Banksy wanted to generate income he could have just auctioned one piece of art and made a donation....no need to he associated with this shizzle.

I will always be the first person to tell you I know nothing, I just try not to jump the gun on numbers till there are more facts. This data is the first data we can try to guess how many shirts were sold. |
