Agreed. it happens over and over. I consider many of the arists celebrated on this forum the equivalent to a "local artist". In every genre there are few who make it for the long run.

I sent him pictures of a project we worked on, which was inspired by his fundraising efforts last WWD. I was one of the people who purchased two Banksy shirts and then asked to be refunded. We then donated the $ direct to Charity:Water.
The bigger picture stuck with me and when we began our unit on the environment, I took us in the direction of water related issues. We read "A Long Walk to Water" and created these designs as part of that unit of study.
I sent some pictures to BNE to show his work had made a difference in many unexpected ways. He asked if he could use the pictures I sent in the next update. Under the condition of anonymity, I happily approved.
Feel very good about it by the way. I've chosen to focus on the positive, rather then ruminate on the negative.

There is a suspicious part of me that says BNE is using the children's pictures to distract from the fact that he went back on what he said (again), but it doesn't really matter and I admire that you're focusing on the positives, as well as helping to raise awareness for clean water issues. Ulitmately, if people are helped through either BNE's or your work, then that's a great thing.
