Also, an order number comes up in my account on Outsiders but says status is 'open' and 'There no items on this order!' Was pretty chuffed to finally get my first Harrington but looking like I am part of the refund crowd. Anyone else in a similar situation or can shed any light on the above? Cheers, Mac I got into the situation as u did. Received a notification on ny phone from the bank that I was charged ยฃ305 while the payment page is being processed. After several refreshes, there is still nothing showing up. And then I noticed, when I opened another page going straight into outsiders webpage, there is an item pending checkout under my basket in my account. Clicked on that and it progrrssed smoothly - another notification message on my phone this time (meaning I was charged twice), a transaction successful page followed by a confirmation email. Somewhat similar to your case, I rechecked my account purchase history and found one 'paid' at 1600 hours and another 'open' at 1622 hours. Not really sure what it means, but hope mine is a confirned purchase though!

Couldn't get back to the Outsiders website from SagePay, as the servers clearly couldn't handle the traffic. Wasn't worried as I got the transaction success notice. Logged in to The Outsiders this morning to find my order has 0.00 value against the order number and it's empty! Very, very annoying!

letiss For the record, you were not told you'd be "contacted in the morning" in the email (below) that you received last night. We're working extremely hard to resolve the situation and make good for everyone - including yourself - unsubstantiated comments like yours do not help this process.

A shame the release had such serious technical problems, but I appreciate the gallery, and the artist doing these releases.

The proportions are a little off from most frames. Most ornate frames are around 5-6 inches wide. As shown, this would be about 10 inches. But if you look hard enough, you can find frames up to 10 inches wide.
The bigger issue is to get the molded corners, you'd have to buy a standard size. The closest I can find is 48x36, so you'd have a four inch border on the sides and a three inch border top and bottom. That's a little too much white space for my taste.
You could solve that with an insert. I don't remember the proper name for them, but they're usually black felt with a gold edge. That would cover some of the white.

Fingers crossed i might get one, although no confirmation email has been sent yet either....

If you're order is confirmed then would imagine you're home and hosed... I certainly wouldn't think so. I placed five or six failed orders before I finally got an order confirmation at about 4:25. I would guess that more than 200 people checked out before most people were able to get all the way through and get a confirmation email. I guess we'll see what happens. |
