Not to say I think welfare should be banned but too many kids in the UK aspire to go on welfare - its the height of their ambition. But there are worse things in life than that! I think your piece is provocative, but heavy handed.

Luciana Gimenez, if beauty were a slow ketchup bottle, I'd flip her over and slap that bottom.
Doug Giles, if brians were a bumper sticker, he'd be stuck to my rear.
Jim Morris, if hilarity were a noisemaker, I'd blow him on New Years.
Margaret Hoover, if beauty and cogent commentary were Gumby, she'd love a little pokey.
Luciana Gimenez, If beauty were a door knocker, I'd bang her repeatedly until someone came to my assistance.
Jim Morris, if brains were a needle, he'd be a little p*ick.
Tia Williams, if celebrity gossip were a bakery, I'd stop by to sniff her buns.
Margaret Hoover, if brains and beauty were the splits I'd do her in a leotard.

There needs to be welfare reform in the sates as well. I needs to start going to the right people that are truely in need. An econmy where it is needs there people to strive and become there own people. Ideas, businesses and just plain work. There is way too much emphasis on doing nothing and getting something out of it. And those that work hard get a slap in the face. Here its ok to be a celebrity and rich. All these lowlifes look up to that. But if your a hard working business man, your shun for being rich. Its a shame becuase you need individuals to get out there and try live the American dream. Thats what this country was built on and we dont need to change that.

I don't understand people's obsession with cutting taxes. Lower taxes result in poorer quality public services: larger class sizes in schools, dirty and understaffed public hospitals. It might work well for the those that can afford private education and private health cover but it does nothing to assist those that cannot.

Kiki... lot of sense coming from you in my opinion some good thoughts and suggestions on the matter.
Silky...Can I have my name in red letters, I dont 'Claim' to be an artist but as many a forum member will support, I can bang out a half decent Multi-Layer, either on the street or canvas.
Racketup...Packitup. Without wanting to cause offence. Your stencils are crap. Lacking in meaning. Dull. Uninspiring. Lost In Translation. Not on the street and in my humble opinion. Your just trying make a fast buck. which by judging the standard of your work wont happen.
There are much much better artists on here than yourself, and simply because they dont 'Sell' their shit are not classed as artists (ie) Silkys red letters. IMO you seriously need to knock it up a few gears my nephew could bang this shite out.

I don't understand the tax cutting obsession either. I have no problem paying my fair share of taxes as it is a necessity to keep public services in place. I do think there needs to be proper tax reform as it is outlandish people in the top income brackets pay less than lower income groups. I also think there needs to be spending reform... pissing away tax dollars in bureaucratic systems that bleed money is insane and there needs to be less to zero special interest and lobbyist involvement in determining where tax dollars are spent. Further, public assistance such as welfare needs to be restructured and provide only limited disbursement before benefits usage expires. Unless there is clear need to assist people where specific guidelines can be drawn, it should not be allowed to be turned into a career option. In summation, keep taxes in place and adjust them to properly reflect income levels, then spend the money wisely.

HAHAHAHA mike sorry you gotta keep track with a pencil now but +1 I was just thinking wow this thread just took a s**t. Cape Fear hahaha thats good s**t.
PS Racket up you need to be able to take a few hits and not grenade on people. Everyone see's that and get a different opinion on you. Read through all the posts where people talk about how kind and generous artists were and how that made them buy something. I just spend way too much on a Ben Tour original I didn't even need because Ben was a standup guy and I wanted to support him. Gotta have some thick skin esp if your going to post here then call out people who don't get or like your stuff.

Funny - That is exactly my story with my Ben Tour piece - went to a show - fully not expecting or planning on buying a piece - spent a couple of hours with Ben - who, in no way was a sales person, - and ended up buying one of the most expensive pieces in the show -
When you connect with an artist on a personal level - that, for me, goes a long way towards understanding an artist's work/vision -
