Jeez...lots of haters. No offense to anyone in specific, but if you don't like an artist, why do you feel it is necessary to go on a thread and bash them? If you don't like...just ignore.

Sold out. I like the print. 49 others must like it too. I have read that one of their businesses went under and they may have owed people. But no one came forward to say "they owe me". And I wonder if there are those who got stiffed if they have been repaid since?

I have friends that struggle with addiction and mental health issues. I support people who have such issues. That's my stance.

Oh...and no one knows who Banksy is...so how do you know if he can paint? Maybe it is his staff...maybe there are many Banksy's. If you like the art, you like the art. I am not hanging two painters in my house, I am hanging a piece of art.

I know the information that I have read...but I guess you got stiffed first hand?  And while you're at it...please tell me the background on all the other artists who use nom de plumes or are otherwise anonymous.   From what I read Golding owed artists in 2008.  Pretty weird that someone who suffered from un-diagnosed bipolar mental health issues might have other issues...

And I am not defending what any of the guys did in the past.  I like the art.  I buy the art.  I wish the best going forward for the two dudes.  Damien Hirst seems like an a$$hat but people still buys his art.  Speaking of which, neither he, Koons, Warhol, etc. really did their art either.  Their assistants do their work.  (and no...i am not comparing the Connor Bros to these guys...just making a point that many established artists do this)

I think mental health problems are there from the start. I guess the massive cocaine habit came later. Wait...oh I get it...you're saying that the cocaine habit was an issue. Oh...my bad. I thought you were just trying to get me to like him more.

I don't care about Connor Brothers or what they did as i'm not interested in their artworks but since when bipolar troubles prevent to pay what you owe. You certainly can do mistakes and impulsive actions but you are still able to make additions an subtractions..

Retnas a p*ick as well, I wouldnt support a coke head woman beater just like I wouldnt support an artist thats stolen from artists and collectors.

Its your own personal call, if you think their art is so worthy and powerful to over look those facts, then its your choice.

Ha ha ha...if this is in revenue to me, I live in Charlotte NC...I have absolutely nothing to do with the Connor Bros other than a fan of their works.

And just curious why why there are a few who rail against them, not for the art, but them personally.  Have you been personally affected by them?  Do you go on all the Retna and Eine posts to state how they are not crooks, but domestic abuse persons?
