Long before Harland Miller and The Connor Brothers, there was a well known Irish artist painting Penguin book covers, albeit without the witty titles... I wouldn't use Harland Miller and The Conor Brothers in the same breath tbh. I quite like these works, different concept and Miller's in a different league, but still interesting. As for long before? I'd be curious to find out when he started this series? earliest I've seen from Miller is 2001 though he's said to have started in the late 90's, when did Shawcross start these ? fitting he's a Belfast artist of course. |

If these are like previous BI wrapping papers then these will be very thin. However, I've had the Charming Baker one framed up here in my office for a couple of years and you can't tell that it was cheap as chips.

I just ordered a pre-made box frame from picframes.co.uk (560x760mm to allow for the boarders), sanded it down, stained it and then float mounted the print onto some white mounting board I had laying around ๐
