A1, A0 Portfolio and Sleeves, by Martin DK on Sept 22, 2008 23:21:32 GMT 1, Hi martindk i have done a bit of research on this... the problem is not with the portfolio but with the sleeves. The standard clear sleeves are not recomended for long term storage. Eventually (because they are not acid free) will cause some discolouration of the prints long term. You have to get archival quality sleeves, which are acid free for long term storage. And they are a bit trickier to find, although Jackson's art suppliers in london can get them for you
Youre absolutely right - however see this link, same seller as PrescriptionArt wrote about.
cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-A1-Archival-Inserts-Display-Sleeves_W0QQitemZ350091546288QQihZ022QQcategoryZ16508QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
However, this stuff is expensive, plus I need shipping to denmark, so I was thinking about buying like 10 of these sleeves, and start there until i have cash for the actual portfolio.

A1, A0 Portfolio and Sleeves, by Daniel Silk on Oct 24, 2008 13:14:08 GMT 1, For anyone after a cheap A1 portfolio, The Range do them for £19.99 Cant seem to find them on their site but they have been in stock at my local store for the last year or so. They have DaleyRowney ones for about £39.99, and these ones for £19.99 that are near identical, that to me look like they have come from the same factory

A1, A0 Portfolio and Sleeves, by howlinjack on Jan 26, 2009 22:01:08 GMT 1, if you have similar pieces in frames just pop one print behind the other and close the frame back up. its very flat and if in a good frame set up, completely acid free. safer on the wall too rather than under the bed.

A1, A0 Portfolio and Sleeves, by bozwick on Jan 26, 2009 22:56:38 GMT 1, I have 10 Selwyns folders that I have no use for anymore, if anyone would like to buy 1,2,3 or however many you need send me a PM. They are size 32"/42' and have space inside for work up to 30 1/2" / 40 1/2". These are by far the best folders I've come across.
I think they cost me about £14 each and are all still mint, so would sell for £10 each and at a discount for the lot. (art not included!)
I'm based in London.
Cheers.

A1, A0 Portfolio and Sleeves, by bozwick on Feb 3, 2009 13:50:25 GMT 1, I forgot to mention that I also have this print rack that is no longer needed.
Think I payed around £80 for it, but would be happy with £35 cash. It can be flat packed for shipping if needed.
Thanks.
