Just to clarify - I've been told the following...
"i am offering one painted print from a series of 10 for $3K.
this is a very rare and special series. each of the 10 painted prints is made from the color tests and proofs from editions shown in the jpeg. the actual editions of those prints have all pretty much sold out.
i'm excited to share this with the public for the first time, while supporting my friends' film project."

I like Maya's work. Wouldn't say it has as much meaning as a Banksy nor as much visual appeal as Katrin Fridricks,, but it looks very good on the wall.
Thing is she has a history of screwing up releases of prints
- the kayrock debacle was ludicrous. High price, managed by muppets, the customer service was crap for those who missed out (worlds worst apology email) and for those who got one (worlds worst shipping)
- PTA is a great print house, but the image might have been a little less appealing, the series was high and the price even higher
I think she does it to herself honestly. This does not make her less of an artist but I for one can't be bothered with her ill managed releases of the same stuff anymore...
