A number of these artists mentioned by OP were hyped on here by galleries, print shops and other, all kinda around the same time. Some have done a bit better than others. I imagine this manipulation was due to the growing scene, just prior to brand sponsorships and other mainstream awareness. Handlers and galleries creating the next hot thing as the scene itself was starting to reach a higher awareness would be quick cash access. Whether the artists can/could sustain is an oft told tale.
