Your Favorite Art Purchase Of 2014, by Hubble Bubble on Dec 13, 2014 19:45:46 GMT 1, Not been buying much this year but Mrs HB and I treated ourself to an early xmas present. A David Hockney 'Paper Pools' from 1980 to add to our (rather non Urban) Hockney collection. Have been looking for one of these in the right condition for a long time and super happy to have finally pulled the trigger. Will post another pic when it's framed.

Everytime I go to London I go to Tate to have a quick look at A Bigger Splash, love his work. A fantastic work for any collection |

If you're ever in West Yorkshire be sure to visit the permanent Hockney exhibition at Salts Mill in Saltaire, near Bradford. Well worth making a diversion for.
