Selling non-street art? I've loads of Todd White & Doug Hyde, by Liverpool ste123 on Dec 11, 2014 15:45:41 GMT 1, Hi everyone,
Would anyone kindly know of anywhere I could sell my Todd White & Doug Hyde pictures please? Mixture of framed and unframed (majority are in huge box frames and are of a pretty grandiose size) and also a mixture of prints, silkscreens and canvasses...
Started collecting them years ago but now my taste has evolved somewhat into the street art scene and the prints I now have easily go into a portfolio, I'd rather free up space in my home and release some cash too in the process.
Want to avoid eBay really as their fees, added to an already-good-price-for-the-buyer is too much of a loss to contemplate at this moment in time.
Have about 12 Doug Hyde pictures, 4 sculptures, Boxed books & around 12 Todd Whites with a couple of books also.
Suggestions greatfully welcomed

Selling non-street art? I've loads of Todd White & Doug Hyde, by Liverpool ste123 on Dec 27, 2014 13:13:20 GMT 1, Certainly is mate Thing with buying prints is you can easily change them to suit a mood too or change of colour scheme etc
Those Todd White's & Doug Hyde's are monstrous in size and the size of some of the deep box frames is imposing so cannot be easily as accommodated!
PLUS street art is much more aesthetically pleasing and you can have many awesome and cheeky/thought provoking/discussion starting pieces up too.
I'm discovering new artists each week - all thanks to the people on this very forum. I'm not a member of any other forums. Don't want to be. My allegiance is here

Selling non-street art? I've loads of Todd White & Doug Hyde, by Mishmash on Dec 27, 2014 15:27:31 GMT 1, Hi Ste,like you I started collecting Doug Hyde quite a few years ago but over time my tastes have changed and I discovered street art which I love and will continue growing my collection with this genre. To sell your Doug pieces I would first try contacting his publishers De Montfort for any advise, any established galleries affiliated with him and his publishers who would be glade to talk to you(and maybe have waiting clients for the right pieces of art)and also try My Art Broker who sells his work on behalf of clients. Good luck Rich
