I' think people should be more original and copy your excuse for selling the Conor for 3x price. I thought you were so hyped to keep it. Yes that's the one "trading up" - don't want to sell but ... needs must for everyone it seems market forces get us all in the end :-)

For me these are classic Borondo - it was this type of etchings on windows on Brick Lane that got me into B in the first place

All of three months;-) You're right. I bought the print, got it framed in UV plexi, put a nail in my wall and stuck it there, let it sit for three months, all so I could get $800. I'm running the long con; I think it's really worth my time and effort.

The below one of Jonathan Rhys Meyers should be about the size to scale; not that bad.

Gonzalo Borondo πͺπ¦ Spanish Glass Artist β’ Street Art, by Unica on Feb 3, 2015 4:20:25 GMT 1, Hmm, I struggled to find anything appropriate for me. I wasn't too impressed with the pieces below Β£5k, I wanted to buy something but couldn't really find anything even though there was a ton of work available. I attempted to buy the skull etching but it was sold after that it was a struggle and I gave up and bought nothing. I suppose I didn't want to pay Β£10k for the large canvases and the pieces on glass I thought would be cumbersome to ship and display. I was a little disappointed in the offerings, maybe after the dust is settled I will pick something up on the secondary market as there was a huge amount on offer.
Although now i'm a little regretting not buying a etching on glass as I quite like the one in the last post. That being said this guy is going to be around a while so i'm going to be patient as I was underwhelmed by the offerings, and really only liked a few pieces but didn't love anything enough to be upset about. Usually I feel a little disappointed about not purchasing a piece by an artist I respect like Borondo but oddly I don't feel like I missed out.
