If the same work that has been put into the book is put into the print then it should be a great pick up. Its shame that people have been refunded on here, and I hope the company have learnt from this.

The preview, and pics posted here, look great though Like I said, I love having some art books out for anyone to pick up when they're at our place. People seem to gravitate to them, and it often gives some of the pieces on our walls a tad of context.

Book is beautiful though. Probably the nicest art book I've seen

It's a real shame, within the last week he was on here shouting down another member and outlining how much he himself has contributed to the forum. He was aware how many of us on the forum were refunded and actually wanted this book and print.

Gonzalo Borondo ๐ช๐ฆ Spanish Glass Artist โข Street Art, by Deleted on Mar 22, 2015 17:03:31 GMT 1, Honestly some people on here need to stop being so hypocritical; I know for a fact that the majority of you ebay flip since figuring out your accounts takes about two seconds. I honestly prefer someone like FR who is transparent, rather than someone who comes on the forum railing against flippers and then goes to their shady corner to flip their own prints (this borondo print is the best example i've seen so far, with people literally ranting against flippers while simultaneously flipping the print on ebay. not talking about FR.)

I would be very surprised if it's the majority, as you suggest. Perhaps I'm being naive.

Keeping the book, was not keen on the print so accepted best first offer. Goes into the pot for another release. It was never going to buy a yacht.
Thing is, im sure there are plenty of lovely folks here. However having been generous in the past it came back to bite when people flipped the generosity. So i dont offer things up here much anymore and when i do its to those who have been good over the years and you will never hear about it because they are personal deals.
Call me what you like, not bothered. I know the score and people who i deal with know it. Thats all that matters. Enjoy the weather.

I would be very surprised if it's the majority, as you suggest. Perhaps I'm being naive. I can almost definitely say that it is the majority of actively participating members, based on what I've seen - I always do a little background research when I see someone lashing out at flippers, and for other random sales threads. Not naming names; frankly that'd take too long.
I've sent a few PMs to people when they were being really ridiculous/hypocritical so they'd pull their head out of their ass, and they always do; that's as far as I tend to go and it usually requires some shadow flipper preaching from a pedestal and yelling at people.
People just need to stop pitchforking against the free market and let it go. Yelling at FR or other flippers isn't going to change anything; you're just making yourselves more upset.

I do think flipping is pretty unpleasant. Fans who want the print to hang miss out. And the flippers are making their money off the back of the artists talent, discouraging them to sell at an affordable price. But, as you say, hypocrisy is pretty unpleasant too.

Flipping is very unpleasant, especially on a forum dedicated to art appreciation (yet one that seems mainly concerned with buying/selling/flipping art).
That said, I still think yelling at flippers is like yelling at the wind during a tornado. It exists, it is more or less a force of nature. Blame capitalism.

I don't see how something said to a person is a reflection of that person's cuntiness; it would be different if the person said it him/herself. For example, if someone comes up to my mom and says "you're a piece of shit," then I wouldn't assume my mom was a piece of shit as a result.

I think theres a difference between online flips and in person flips. Those who go to shows with their mum, dog and dogs friend to get multiple prints are worse. At least online its fastest finger, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. It is even ground.
It also what you class as a flipper. I class a flipper as someone who buys and sells instantly with no interest. These people know nothing about art or anything. They often sell trainers and gig tickets as well. Same people who turn up with pit bull terriers in a banksy queue. They are the scum.
Then you have the collector flips who have an extensive collection and sell bits here and there to buy something further.
There is a definite line, i would class most on here and myself in the second category so its not all bad if you keep some for the walls and frame stuff.
This conversation was going on 8 years ago on here, glad to see people are still fresh off the boat otherwise it would get boring.

I don't see anyone pitchforking against people selling the Unveiling or Samson's Nostalgia Trap; those came out less than a half a year ago and have been sold 10-20x on here already with zero complaints.
