Probably (almost definitely) fake Banksy poster GIVEAWAY, by dashboll on Jan 21, 2015 17:44:11 GMT 1, Well, @federationofideas very generously decided to give 2nd and 3rd place the choice of a print from his site, and I was lucky enough to come second.
Here's my little story, grab yourself a cuppa.... I've always liked feds Coney island print so asked for that but it wasn't available anymore, so fed very kindly offered an original canvas, so I chose a "not for sale" which fed made a unique piece for me in black with metallic finish. Nice, eh?
A day or two later, fed also offered me a kraken piece in fluorescent pink which he was going to send seperately, two prints winging their way across the pond. Anyhow, a few days ago I received the first package with the kraken print it, and what else should be in there but the kraken print and also the Coney island print too! A quick pm to fed and he told me he just didn't have the colourway on the site so had sent me a maroon colourway. He then told me that the canvas was on it's way and there was something extra in there too. I nearly pissed myself (was a little excited haha!)
So yesterday there's a package waiting for me with the canvas (which is brilliant, really great) and also his pyramid for sale piece as well. I do excite a little easily, and did get a little giddy, the wife thinks I'm fucking crazy! Haha!
So, I came second in a giveaway with only one prize and end with with 4 amazing pieces.
@federationofideas you are a legend, extraordinarily generous and show that the world is in fact a lovely place. Also shows what a great place this forum is too, acts like this far outweigh the odd idiot you get on here.
