If there were only 500 and it was half the size you wouldn't see so many for sale.

I think that's right. The problem with big prints is that they cost a lot of money to frame, and you need a big space to hang them. So people can't afford to frame them. They also can't put them in a portfolio either.
When negotiating swap deals on pieces I have had a load of GIWTBB offered to me.
Personally I think it is a great print, but I am as guilty as everyone else in that mine isn't framed and, given the size, I can't see it being framed any time soon as I just don't have the room to put it up. More framed goodies coming soon though courtesy of Mr Frameman....
