So firstly i have single handily hyped up the price of Stik , and i must be very busy at all the auctions !
all the dealers selling are also taking notice of me and now i'm FR .

We all have or want to have large art collections of work we love.
Many of us enjoying sharing our art with others for many reasons - the joy of sharing with like minded people, the prospect of a share back and of course status - I freely admit to getting more than a tingle of "look at my good taste, aren't I cool" when people come into my house and comment.

None of us got into art so we could be judged. Given we are all tasteful smart and lucky enough to have discovered the joy of art, perhaps if something is not to your liking on this thread you might want to treat it the same way you do with art that is not to your taste - Quietly move to the next piece.

When you have a decent collection they either think you're a gallery or they try and talk it down.....

I think they should of tried harder at school personally .....

Taking things a little the wrong way ,single handily you have a lot of say in the secondary market valuations was the quote .
Did not express high end valuations or bidding up.

As you have a lot of pieces and rare ones too , as you know the Stik prints rarely come up for sale if you chose to sell all or list a few together you may cause prices to drop , as when the prints usually come up for sale there is usually only one or two items of the edition at the time so creates a bidding war and with an oversaturated market of choice of prints you would not see the bidding frenzy that usually occurs

Not surprising dealers would like to own your whole collection as can control the small niche market.

Many people have bought multiple items of an artist , kunstrassens , Ryca, whatson , dolk, banksy , spqr , Nick walker etc some artists succeed and some fall flat .recently a sale thread with two ap Dolk kitty's , that's the hobby of collecting hard to source items.

Personally I find Stik appealing framed with max two pieces as they have the minimal design and becomes cluttered and distracting with too many colours .

Reading through the thread I do not see any jealousy just curiosity and some wanting justification of how the prints are valued so high as now it's a trend that an auction result appears then that's the following guide line for pricing .
But with auctions it's known that they can be false and manipulated .

I remember the cyw jumped in price from an auction result 2 -3 years ago .

I sent out almost a hundred free signed "Liberty" show cards from NY to around the world to only forum members after his show and was ridiculed by some for asking for shipping costs to be covered.  One forum member even told me I was profiting from the shipping cost and proceeded to take the insults to a PM.
I guess those that received them are not so angry about the shipping cost only being charged.  
How many forum members still have them : )
