Also picked up a nice unique piece that hadn't been included in the pdf for an extremely good price which was a very nice touch for such a long trip!

Yes, and it was well worth it just to see the texture and detail in the paintings. It was also great to meet Jason, who was in attendance too. The use of resin and tar as part of the artistic process was particularly impressive and visually striking, as was the bold manner in which the pieces were presented. As @araplatoon has suggested, the pdf simply doesn't adequately do the works justice. So if you are thinking about it, just go and see for yourself. For a debut solo exhibition this was a very strong outing indeed. The stylistically diverse nature of the works, rather than being jarring, only served to emphasise Jason's talent and the potential he has. It was also an extra to have music specially created by Jason for some of the pieces on show.

Thanks for you feedback! It's tough with cosmonauts as Jeremy truly is the king of them, they're based off the same source imagery which is a retro Russian cosmonaut suit, both, the crucified poses of them has a deeper meaning which ties in the theme of the show, feel free to DM if you'd like some more background on the pieces or any questions. Thanks !

if You were interested in purchasing the cosmonauts and wanted background on them I would have no issue explaining my connection with them, now the 004|400 piece has nothing at all to do with that. I don't feel the need to publicly explain why or why not I choose to paint what I paint. I appreciate you "encouraging to turn this into a constructive conversation" but from an artists stand point some things are more personal to me and I choose to share directly with the collector of the piece, as those who attended yesterday and purchased pieces can vouch for, it makes it a lot more personal and special for them as it does for me. Either way thank you for your feedback and it is something I will definitely consider in the future

It feels like there's elements of harringtons fight club style and maybe the borf/Rothko.. But the images are fresh as a whole with their own identity and it's cohesive as a collection too
if kanye west was a painter this is probably what it would be like (complete with musical pieces to match)
