Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by popmozz on May 22, 2012 15:57:24 GMT 1, sorry, maybe a bit late in this discussion. but isn`t 27k for a ed of 50 (original colorway) not a steal. i would be happy to trade my edition of 20 colourway against that earlier print. but on the other hand i`ve heard the og colourway is not the same quality as the 6 x 20 ed. any comment on that?

The glitter spots are dedicated to someone, although if you are called Mark or Tim you may get yourself a decent deal

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by anbesivam1 on Sept 21, 2012 21:33:12 GMT 1, All estimates seem reasonable...with a few too good to be true.
The reality is, every single urban art gallery and dealer on both sides of the pond have been eyeing up this auction for some time. They will end up buying most of the quality pieces between them. Plus they will not let anything that they have in their stock go for less than what they are selling it for...i.e. they will protect the high end market.
Thus, the quality Banksy's, KAWS, Parla and Shep will go for more than respectable hammer prices.
Having a large selection of Banksy pieces draws in the people with serious money...LA is not short of people with serious money!
All in all, despite the recession, I would expect the quality pieces to go for well above current estimates.
