Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Jimmy Oscar on Jan 28, 2015 17:38:07 GMT 1, That Banksy went cheap.... Seen as you comment on every for sale and wanted thread on valuations and print quality I guess we have to bow to your expertise?
It didnt go 'cheap' - it went for it's value.
Stop creaming yourself.

It is a warm up January furniture sale so not exactly prime time and that's far from his best. 40k for that is a lot of money imo especially when you consider the house it was bought at and the time of the year.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Happy Shopper on Jan 28, 2015 17:44:10 GMT 1, It's small canvas, and not an iconic image... but quite a well known, early one. I assume this wasn't part of the Lazarides collection?
If any of his prints go for close to the canvas, that would look a little suspicious to me!
