Not sure it has anything to do with people being pissed off and more to do with "managing" an artist's career trajectory. If they sell for £250 I am not sure what that would say for Micallef's position in the art world right now. Just musing. I am sure there are some very knowledgeable Micallef people on here who can fill you in. |

Loving the new Micallef though. Is the high priced market still there for there for him for Laz to still command a premium, his stuff sells quickly and doesn't appear to come back onto the market very often so hard to predict. Obviously things like GIWTBB etc. but they were editions of 1000 so to be expected I guess. The Harringtons recently were well priced for flipper wankers so maybe Laz will make these new Micallefs more in line with these to reintroduce some new hype back into the market. Either way I'm hoping I can find the money for it.
