Like this release, his NY show is pretty much sold out too.

Interesting claim. He's had 1 release with issues. Shipped 9 other items without a single flaw... I could throw my relics around the room in their shipping boxes.. without issue

2 released with issues, don’t forget the sand circle. I also heard from somebody who was stupid enough to buy the watch that it was mega cheap materials and that had (battery?) issues too.

The fun factor would have been great for guests and friends to interact with. Wouldn't have to worry about price depreciating or keeping it uncracked.

I'd differ in opinion...
I know probably 30 guys that bought the hourglass myself included with 1 that had an issue.. if you've held one in person, you know it's a tough piece to ship with the varying glass thickness.
No artist or company can be perfect

As for the hourglass, what about the sand inside? Wasn't there an issue with the sand not making it through the middle?

You just have to let it run thru a few times and that stops. Not really odd for an hourglass altho I'm odd in that I own a few different ones

How is 500 a high edition on an affordable impressive in person nice to display piece?
Kaws and many others did editions of 500 a decade ago. With social media, especially his following.. 500 isn't much
They lasted 30 seconds online

Daniel Arsham 🇺🇸 New York • Eroded Future Relic, by zeuscarver on Sept 20, 2018 5:00:49 GMT 1, I have a Daniel Arsham Sand Circle. it is in great shape, original packaging, but has been open and displayed.
i was going to keep it but my cat got sick and vet bills are way more than i bargained for.
it has the issue (some view it as an attribute) that the sand does not fall continuously, it requires some love to get it to all settle. perhaps this is the artists vision, but it is the fact of most Arsham Sand Circles.
i'm looking for 800USD +PP fees + shipping. considering i think it cost me 600 to get it 1 or 2 years ago, seems fair.
i haven't sold on here but i have some references from expressobeans and happy to do this as a payment for goods on paypal for buyer protection.
i can email photos/i'll figure how to post them soon (just got back from 4 hours at the vet, so just looking for bed over here)
anyways, hopefully someone wants it, is is very cool and in great shape
have an excellent day! Sam

Yea. They didn’t release too long ago. But they’ve been sitting on eBay for 900-1000$ so no deals going on over here 👈🏽
