Happy New Year from Team VNA - hope you're all well. We're just putting together the final touches and articles for Issue 29 of VNA and it is shaping up to be an absolute corker. for our cover interview and LE we've headed over to the states to chat to an interesting guy who has blown up in the last few years - you will not be disappointed!
We're also talking to a European legend about his time hitting the streets and dodging police...and then back to the US to talk street photography with one of the pre-eminent shooters of his generation (no, not Henry Chalfont). Then for Diggin' In The Crates we've gone large and slightly political with an American artist renowned for his work mashing up icons of both entertainment and politics...
More details, names and sneak peeks soon..just as soon as we've moved offices again (for the second time).

Yep, we have Cleon Peterson as our cover artist and two launches - one on Feb 14th at Subliminal Projects in LA and then later in the month. We have a killer line-up of artist interviews too, including Blek Le Rat, Ricky Powell, Persue, Travis Price and a retrospective with Ron English.
The LE is, I think, our best one yet with a screen printed box and screened, signed cover, along with some unique die-cut stickers. And edition of 150, it will be available at the launches and a small number held over for a time-released launch through the website โ www.verynearlyalmost.com/shop

I think theyโve had a problem with their system - Ive just had my subscription receipt resent to me and they sent me a random copy of another edition a few weeks back which I queried and they said thereโd been problems. its available to buy on their website so I would have expected it by now but still not had it here. |
