I don't object to seeing the images and defend LF's right to post. However, I made a pact with myself a long time ago that I simply wouldn't look at any of these images or beheadings and the like. That's what these people wantโฆ for us to look at them, talk about themโฆ soโฆ I don't want to see these images for that reason and would have appreciated a thread title.

I agree with Hubble on this, I actually was the person that pm'd lonelyfarmer but I didn't raise a complaint with a mod. My main point was that ISIL want the videos to be distributed as widespread as possible, that's exactly how they are managing to recruit and therefore like Hubble refuse to watch any of the videos or see any of the pictures. To be fair, if there was a title I would have never looked, but usually when people dot out the titles it's because something has been sold and I was wondering what it was.

Don't make it easier for these numbnuts by becoming part of the process.

I agree about the lack of warning or title. Don't understand why it was done that way. Happy for there to be serious grown up conversations on here beyond art if that's what people want but that's not why I come on and I'm not sure why the original poster felt the need to hide the topic.
I often browse the forum with my kids around and would prefer no nasty surprises.

Can you imagine going to a website dedicated for kids and getting "gore images" from Google Ads, paid by the American and targeting IPs per country. My 5 year old daughters asked, "dad why are they pulling this man on the floor" ?
I was so fed up getting these nasty Google Ads that I decided to screenshot all the Google Ads advertisements and wrote to many local and international newspapers as well as Google. No reply, no interest whatsoever, strange, because the all idea of having Google Ads showing propaganda ads with weapons and dead bodies in order to promote hate speech is an interesting story... but as you said Americans with FOX get this on daily basis.
All these ads were made by AMISOM and aimed to promote hate in the region... check this ads showing a muslim boy with caption "what is he learning ?" (understating muslims don't go to school). There is one ads showing guys on the floor with caption "radicalisation in Kenya" (although he is a police intervention).
This said, I agree it is an art forum, no need to share these. And if you - LonelyFarmer - felt there is a need to share them so that we all learn about it, then sorry mate, but there are lot of things you are not aware (and shall presumably never hear about) and don't think letting everybody share their horror story/gore images is a good idea.

Seeing gore images relayed on popular media such as GOOGLE to fight terrorism is very common practice here in Kenya. This world is really getting crazy. In my opinion the topic starter opened a threat to express his thoughts about the current reality in the world. I certainly do not want to ignore the reality in this world we are living in.

The photos make us realise how evil and barbaric people can be.
This story was in the mainstream media and the photos and image simprinted in peoples minds, who are not offended but shocked at the barbarity and two faces of people who should not exist.
