Dran Show โข Public Execution, London 2015, by Deleted on Feb 6, 2015 19:33:58 GMT 1, The room was at least partially boarded out for this show - I just checked my photos of the last show. Some other info from my visit today: Dran isn't keeping any kind of schedule. He has a key to the gallery and will just be painting 'whenever'. I guess this means probably during closed hours. The gallery doesn't know if he will put paper up, or just paint/draw on the walls and don't know if he will be selling all/some/nothing that he creates. He got a load of nasty comments about the empty show on the offer slips for the canvas so they don't know what might end up happening with that. So f**ktard flippers might have ruined that. I can pop in most days as it's just around the corner. Happy to update on the progress.

Looking forward to seeing what happens, not going to try to second guess the result, the word futile springs to mind!

Totally agree, anyone in their right mind has to expect that there is going to be some negativity from people who've paid to travel, expect something and get nothing? That doesn't excuse the pettiness of crass comments but you're going to get those when you're dealing with the public right? It's just the way it is, some things will never change. |

Fair enough, some in the queue may have deserved a pie in the face, but i'm sure there were a good amount of true fans there that took time off work/travelled/stood outside in the cold for hours to see dran at work in person.
