Dran's work does absolutely nothing for me, but I tip a big fat chapeau in the direction of the hype he's stirred up, both here and in the press. Any artist who works in front of an audience deserves to be applauded (unless he's Rolf Harris.)

Most likely the shop was vacant and it's being offered rent-free before the new tenants arrive. It happens alot in the westend....nothing at all to do with the landlords/agents/mafia having a monopoly in the area and f*$cking SME's so hard wherever they can in their search for infinite growth.

Near enough the whole area is ran/managed/extorted, I believe, by Shaftesbury. The rent is around ยฃ50-60k pa +rates I'd estimate.
