I hoped they would have garnered more attention than they have. It didn't bleed so it didn't lead. Had Banksy and his fixers been killed (by an Israeli air strike or angry Palestinian) while creating these works, it'd be all over the news. Sadly.
Plus, he would have had the neat opportunity of being a martyr for a cause!

You have to remember it's an issue most sweep under the rug to begin with. The fact he had over a million views and covered by most major news networks is no small achievement. Another notch on the B belt. |

This has been a problem the media ignore or pick sides on for a while, no human beings should live like this no matter what your political or religious beliefs are.

Yes was thinking the same thing.. I think the world is so messed up so much gets forgotten about quickly as normal every day people have their own personal worries : family, health, employment, rising costs of everyday living etc... People are sad for a day then they move on. I mean one day the news it will cover the atrocities in Syria,Ukraine,Gaza etc. next day the news moves on and its forgotten. My tip don't watch the news - you will feel more happy

It's absolutely shocking that these families are still having to live in constant fear and sorrow of loved ones being murdered amongst the debris and rubble of what was once their homes. The paintings are all very poignant ......what Mother would want to see her child forced to grow up playing on a bomb site surrounded by armed guards ..... and sadly people still turn a blind eye and choose to look at cute kitten images online.
Well I've never been one for cute cat photo's although I will spend some time this weekend searching online for current campaigns to add support for the people of Palestine.

These were not his best pieces ever. He did the cat before and the rest was not amazing. I don't think this has to be the headline all over the world as there is a lot of other stuff going on.
