I have had to close a number of threads and start another one due to constant trolling, that would appear nothing is done about even after repeatedly informing you!.. I would like to know your views on people posting photographs of me on this forum? I believe it is a breach of privacy and most feel that person should be banned!? what are your views?

There's posting something on a thread then there is deliberate sabotage every time, those people are not here for the right reason and should be banned!

I think that's the main gripe in this instance, transparency (and threats of police and legal action so I've seen).
From my experience with Galleries on here, they respond via PM if you have something in the Wanted thread, which I think is the Best Practice to maintain and encourage community-through-contribution at UAA. My two pence

Castle Gallery has also pointed out the pitfall of damage to a gallery's reputation. As far as I am concerned I will not raise anymore questions on your threads EKA. I was not making a slur in my second para, only adding to the comments regarding how we can ensure the UAA is a place firstly for community (ie contributory, opinions, discussions, sharing, raising awareness, etc).
For some reason we all for the main part get along fine with galleries that operate on here, most likely down to their consideration for the community here (and probably because most are actually launching new products as opposed to reselling).

The differentiator here for me is that if you are buying from, or selling to, a gallery then as a private individual you should be able to distinguish between someone who is collecting art for a hobby or a profit?
It shouldn't make a difference really I guess, if you achieve your price expectation but I think transparency is always a good thing.
I'm not a gallery but I know a bloke who owns one (proper one, bricks and mortar...).
