At first it seemed like the 'Love Hurts' print was given to those who lent helping hands in NYC (and were apparently recruited anonymously via Craigslist, not knowing who they were working for). That made perfect sense and seemed awesome.
Now, judging from the instagram account of the Dumbo print holder, he seems to just be a really wealthy art collector; perhaps he has more influence in the art world than he lets on, but this really wasn't the type of person I expected to be offered a Banksy VIP print.

Clearly there is no legal action here as it would be near impossible to track who, what, where, when, and how much.

Are we sure it was the framer? When I skimmed the guy's account before it went private, he seemed like a normal collector guy.
To me, it honestly seemed like the guy posted it himself. Granted, only took a quick look.
Also the pic was from December 2014, I remember that much.
