Upcoming Invader , by Lroy on May 2, 2015 14:51:16 GMT 1, I don't know if it's because Japan, but there is a lot of goodies ( stickers or tee packs look like a yum-yum soup packs - funny anyway . here. Some are good, others not. Phone cases are too much. I like the sticker ( white sheet ) points .
As for the last Invasion in Asia, I am not very interested by these prints ( apart the scooter shot very funny, that was in sticker too ) , the other ones are " poor " - just my advice.
Hope that Invader will not become as Mr Andre or even Kaws, only shops ..,

The stickers are good way for everyone to leave the exhibition with a souvenir. You can buy a pack of 15 (80hkd) or try your luck for one (5hkd, or less...). I don't think they are that limited, I'm quite sure they will last for a couple of weeks.
The exhibition venue is really great. Lot of space to appreciate his work. No gallery feeling at all as there is practically nothing for sale (apart the tiles covers), so people around are only coming for the pleasure of the eye :-)

I like Invader, but this is soooooo his cousin.
Not a fan of it. At all.
He hasn't had a decent or worthy print release since before Art Alliance...
Maybe even way before that.

What the white scooter with the Chinese on it ? As the other sticker scooter is in Invaders studio in this video 2012 ..

This scooter thing is something else, and I'm surprised it isn't getting more backlash. Honestly comes off a bit egotistical for an artist to think anyone would even care about his/her scooter enough to have a print of it on their wall, regardless of how integral it was to their street art career. Especially when the scooter looks so ordinary, and the print so effortless. And I'm an Invader fan.
He could've done an 'I Have Chalks' thing and saved it with handfinishing or stickers as paste-ups or something, but guess not.

I like it cos it reminds me of when I was first gettin into invader and seeing the scooter in pics or vids. But not keen on the Bruce lee print.
Also aggree with the Aladdin sane comment. The only reason I didn't go for one was the embossed white squares that wasnt part of the image. Thought they shoulda just embossed the coloured parts, not outside the image too. Woulda bugged me havin it on my wall.
