Cheers $100k+ I think. They don't come around very often. If you do 3x unsigned, that puts it around ~$135k all in from auction |

A good chunk of art valuations have limited or no direct comparables to back them up, they are simply best guesses based on the limited evidence adjusted at the discretion of the Valuer. That’s exactly what I offered with the caveat there are limited direct comparables. This is a valuation thread where multiple members can offer opinions but given the subjective nature of art, even valuations backed up with recent sales are by no means perfect and the spread of values for even a multiple can be wide. If you’re after a perfect floated market then art is not for you. |

Yes that’s the one. As I say in this market prices can move rapidly. It could be a £15k print this time next month!

I am considering selling my signed Soupcan (yellow/emerald/sky blue), and / or unsigned Barcode.
Both with Pest Control CoA, both unframed, both mint condition.
Obviously seen the various auction results over last couple of years, but would be keen to get an idea of what I should be asking a gallery for.
Any guidance appreciated.

This is an imperfection of using Auction results as a guide. The two prints a week ago had significant condition issues and the Kate Moss yesterday was a gift print with no COA. I was a bit dissapointed with the CND so it will be interesting to see the results from Sothebys and Tate Ward to get a better idea of where the market is going.

Indeed, but we have 50+ more auction results that will come in, so it will average out any condition effects 
So far looks like Sotheby’s result will return everything to growth

Not the Big unique pieces but the 1s from editions of 15 or 25 in size 50cm x 50cm ish - most of the iconic images have been produced this way.
