Most buyers couldn't care less if the print is signed or unsigned, hand finished or not. They treat these editions as a commodity and you can't really blame them when there's 10+ years of price data suggesting these outperform pretty much anything else they can put their money into.

Its only us wierdos here who take pleasure from the message and little nuances like oversprays and hand finishing.

Its that time on the sales curve where I would hazard a guess that most are not displayed and instead stored away like bullion. Who cares what the art looks like if that's the case.

Thought there would be a smartass make comment at that. I was making reference to coller saying he wouldn't dream of spending 30k on an unsigned ed.

Obviously at the same price point every buyer would care as one is more valuable. My point being that signed and unsigned are more and more treated as commodities with the focus on the return and not the art.

I don't often post, but saw this today and made me think. This was just over 5 years ago, and the first post on this valuation thread (go back 170 pages).
I was gutted to have to sell my Barcode, but it funded the deposit on the house i'm sitting in now. Without selling it, it would have taken a lot longer for me to get to that point. Now these sit in the £20k+mark so it's easy to feel bad about what i could have made, but the thing i really missed over the last few years was looking at it. I'm pleased to say that I've been lucky enough to purchase another one (with a stamp this time) that will be gracing my wall at some point in the next few months. Anyway, enough with the nostalgia, just thought it interesting how things go round, and the impact that selling this print made on my life back then

No COA applied for on the WSM. I'll get around to it shortly.

With the WSM I believe its the Lime Green A/P edition of 8. If you get the COA its probably worth somewhere in the region of £30,000 to £32,000 maybe a bit more. The laugh now monkeys, is that a panel from a train? Or is it just a Laz type photo? Is there a COA? Most people will not touch street pieces that don't qualify for a COA.

This is correct.. edition size of 18.. and this is how they were signed and numbered ( with number  not x /18 )

Yea I remember correctly it’s an edition of 8. Not 18 as mentioned before.

And it is definitely an edition of 18 ( not 8. this one is just numbered 8 from the 18 if that makes sense )
