Yeah it is crazy to think what they were selling for when it came out. But who would have thought these prices will soon be realized. Thank you for the advice. I'm going to try and get the price closer to ยฃ20,000.

These things ebb and flow with the tide and it's not like that was always the most expensive image but it's far and away the most expensive right now. And he's anything but a one hit wonder so plenty to choose from too. |

Probably doesnt matter that much for this particular print as not likely to be many folks with ยฃ20k to splash on an unsigned print but I wouldnt go public with your purchasing strategy on an open forum, chances are someone might nick your intended purchase in future. There's also a goodchance that any seller of a GWB will be reviewing these threads.

I genuinely thought that the person that quoted 6K was perhaps unaware that it was signed and such a low edition number as well as tricky to actually buy in the first place. Flags in general was severely underpriced for a long time, even I turned down a gold at ยฃ6k about two years ago but you'd be hard pressed to find one in good condition for under ยฃ10k. Condition is a HUGE issue with these pieces. |
