Agree. if you know and trust the seller and especially if they are the original owner you should be fine. It gets muddy when you are buying from someone you don't know or has zero credible references. I would have no problem buying without COA from several members on here. The Flag I just picked up didn't have one and I'm not worried about it in the least. Complete different story if you have no relationship with the seller or if you have any reason to question the authenticity. Good luck with your search.

Madness I feel like quite a few Banksy prints have close to doubled in the past year, not sure if the weakened pound has driven up the price as they become cheaper to buy for foreigners or if prices have gone up due to the pound being so weak. Of course there is also the element of supply and demand and his popularity seems to be rising. Here in the USA most galleries don't have much stock and from what I'm told they fly out the door when they do have them. Much easier to buy a mid level Warhol, they seem to be everywhere but rarely do I see a Banksy but for a gallery or two in NY. Not sure how long or how far prices can rise as Banksy prints seem to be getting close to Lichenstein, Warhol, Indiana and other popular artists. |

Very very very very doubtful IMO. Again it's a stencil that can easily be picked up from ebay... i've no recollection of seeing this in situ, no photos exist of it in situ, there is no context to the rat being there and the stencil itself doesn't look right.

I think Colour Trolleys has been selling for more than £10k in recent times and I expect that signed TM will fetch more than Trolleys, less of them and as a result you don't see that many. |

I did enquire about Hang Up's unsigned LIITA last week and was told it would be £19,995 so there is every chance I am wrong |
