Value of the Riot Silver edition of 13, sadly won't be much more than retail (as they were already pretty high priced if I remember well) I think that the Misfit Bend Embrace sold on eBay for barely 100gbp more than what it costed at the opening night. However, if someone's looking for this one, it's still a great print in a very very low edition of only 13 that sold out on location. Difficult market, but with the right buyer, everything is possible! :-)

Spray paint (stencil) on wood

This was originally sprayed onto a 6ftx4ft particle board for the Dface "Love and Hate" show in 2012.......

One of the images shown was copied and pasted from DFace's website until very recently when he updated it.

The other images are photos that I've taken today to show that the wood particles match exactly that of the uploaded image to show it's originality....it's not signed or nothing but I'm 99.9% convinced of its pedigree due to the matching wood "grain".

As you can see I had it cut down to a much more manageable size approx 18 inch x 16 inch from 6 ft x 4 ft for ease of transportation.....nothing else was on the discarded wood.

I was offered it about 4 years ago as a bonus buy after buying something or other from a seller on EBay, as it was to be discarded after the show had finished.

Hi mate , I've absolutely no idea ? ....that's why I was trying to garner some critical feedback on it by introducing it into this thread.

I know it's not your classic "Lichenstein-esque" imagery that people have come to associate with Dface , but on the other hand it's certainly one of kind from him , and a documented one too.

Shame it hasn't got any of his trademark Lichtenstein-esque art on it. I would have been on it like a flash!

Hi Christoff ....thanks for your input on the matter , in regards it's size and weight for postage , to be honest it's not an awful lot bigger nor heavier than a double/triple LP (16x18 as apposed to 12x12)....so I would guess £30(?) max to the USA.

I'm not regarding this as a long-lost Urban art masterpiece and expecting it to be worth thousands but I would argue the case that for a Dface/urban art collector it has it's place as an artefact in his growth as an artist , wether or not his place in urban art history gets cemented is for the future to decide.(?)

As for its authenticity , once you get your eye in on any particular spot on the piece that was published on his website you can see the wood particles match exactly on the piece I've got , so there's no question there really...

$600-$900 for each. D*face print market is all over the place these days, but I'd say this is a rough estimate of what you can expect them to sell for.
