M16 vs. AK-47 H/C large print originally sold at Merry Karnowsky gallery in 2006.
It is a signed H/C print but in mint condition. The insurance investigator stated they could only find the small version of that print and did not consider the rarity of an H/C print.

I made some further research on the world wide web ๐
And the result: The silkscreen is a original paster of Fairey.
Obey made these in 2008 in an edition of 250. He used these as pasters at the South by Southwest festival in Austin TX in 2009.
Some of the pastors were handed to passerbys.

The gradient of the pasters is the same like the one I posted with the mistakes. Maybe this happened in generating the graphic to print. It's cool that Shep uses screenprints as wallpasters.

Iโm guessing your insurance claim has been settled by now

Iโm not sure what your abbreviation H/C stands for but if yours is from the MK show in 2006 I think you have the HPM version, I donโt think they had the Rise Above editions of 50 at the show or even avail from the gallery afterwards.
If your insurance company compared what you have to a smaller non H/C (whatever H/C means) then Im guessing they compared what you own to some 18 x 24 screenprint edition of 300 that was originally $35 or whatever.
Or maybe they compared it to the Guns and Roses 24 x 36 offset? Itโs a similar image.
If you have a large HPM you need to tell your insurance guy to start looking to auction results for comparable sales not eBay.
