Their post made it seem like invader provided them with the pieces, which one could argue either way about. More importantly given heritage auctions hammer prices last month these are off by a bit.

I can't see their post, so I don't know what you're referring to, but everyone knows that prices achieved by those shady charlatans, Heritage Auctions, should not be used as benchmarks.

I'm a long time collector of a few street artists, but know very little about Space Invader - so was hoping someone might be able to help with any information on these. They were both bought from a charity shop in inner city Melbourne, Australia. I'm guessing that they're just knock offs, but thought it was worth checking to see if anyone knew more.

They're both approx 30cm wide by 20cm high. Glass tiles mounted on a ceramic tile backing. There's no signature but the tile mount is stamped 'Johnson' made in England. Each also has a number. The silver one looks like 88 05 and the blue/grey one 88 03.

No signature means 2 things : street piece or not by Invader. In both cases, it doesn't worth much.

No offense mate but are you sure you understood what people who replied to you meant ? ;-) It means it's nothing to do with the artist himself, could have been done by anyone. My cousin can build one for you if you want, he's building bathrooms ;-)

I think graffiti street had one for sale at 19k gbp which was very cheap compared to the others IMO
