POSE has this set up for collectors and supporters to have a chance at new releases. May artists do this to reciprocate appreciation to those that have supported them over the years. There will be a full public release as well coming soon. Has POSE charged you or Dappy with the task of speaking on his behalf? Do you represent or have direct contact with POSE? If the artist or originator of the email comes here and asks for something to be removed, that would make sense. But this is not the case. It's not a question of whether what was done is correct, is right, "I agree with it" (It might very well be the case here!). It is a matter of reach. Who decides what can and should be deleted? Under which circumstances can a third party redact what any forum member (me, you, him) desires to communicate? If somebody objects to information being posted, that person should contact the poster and give him the reasons why he should delete the info. But just reaching out and deleting what one DEEMS inappropriate, sets up a dangerous slippery slope. There might also be a possible conflict of interests here. Was the original "private" email sent to Dappy or any of the people agreeing with him? Are "special collectors" given special treatment here?
Special treatment was given to those who revived the email, and that should not be abused by people and plastered on the internet (not that I am bashing the OP because i don't care that much although id be pissed if i could no longer get HPMs or prints because they stopped sending out emails because people were abusing the power given to them) with the anonymity with a site like this it is not like if POSE or a representative sees this they can just take the OP off the email list so he can't share the info again. It comes back on ALL OF US. so the guardian was helping every one else who gets the emails (and everyone can sign up or reach out to the artist/his representatives) so that we can continue to have access to pre-sales and things like that.
Being a good customer and loyal offers you perks. As seen Tabby sends out gifts to loyal customers and so do many others. This is a way of giving back to those who are loyal. I even was lucky enough to get a free version of the book POSE put out a while back from them, so I for one am grateful there are people to clean up the forum from things that should not be posted.

If you call doing the proper thing conflict of interest than i guess. But the emails have always explicitly asked for the links and passwords not to be shared, I will note that this email was an exception in that it was not explicitly asked but anyone who has gotten them before or PDF previews of his work before would know that they usually come with a statement from Dante asking for it not to be shared as they are usually only for those they deem it necessary to have the information. I think when people abuse the generosity of companies and artist its great to have people take that sh*t down because otherwise they will stop the pre-sale and lists which make it possible for some of us who are busy and work and cannot sit around all day trying to get a print can get them. It's too pinkish for my taste plus I already got the Cleon Peterson print today. Just became a dad and life got a lot more expensive so I really shouldn't be buying art in the first place..  Would probably have missed the email/drop if we weren't up feeding the little one..

So although i agree it should not have been posted atkeast a few actual collectors whom seem excited about getting got a chane this time. For anyone picking one up for first time tey rival maws prints im color and presentation, jist absolutely beautiful color and technicality

I received the presale invite for Drown even though I hadn't previously bought a print. All I did was sign up on the site. I bought Drown and received the presale email for this print as well. I also received two emails, about 12 hours apart, both the same. Honestly I think everyone who signs up for the list is still selected somewhat randomly each round and it's still left up to luck. I have no idea how they decide who does and doesn't receive an email on the list. Is what it is.
