I'm lucky enough to have an original piece by Conor Harrington dating from 2007. It's a black and white chalk and charcoal piece measuring around 6ft x 5ft on six sheets of paper pasted together onto a backing.
The image is from the same period and features the same character as this one from Grottaglie:
It was rescued from an installation that was being demolished, and would otherwise have ended up in a skip. It's too big for me or anyone I know to display. Being a street piece it has no provenance as such, though it's clearly his work. I won't lie, it's not in great condition. It hasn't been stored well (rolled up on a shelf in a lock-up garage), so it has plenty of creases and in places the pasted on sheets are starting to peel from the backing. That said, there's no real damage to the artwork itself and I'm certain it can easily be restored to make a piece fit for display. Besides, a bit of decay and damage seems to be in the spirit of the work!
So… speculatively - does anyone have any idea what such a thing might be worth, if anything at all? I want to tidy it up and start taking proper care of it, and also wondering whether it should be insured.

Conor's prices have stalled a bit after his smudgy heads series.
But this is a great piece. Don't come up for sale often.

1900£ is probably a fair price as well. I paid 1900 for my mm in January.

I picked one up, mint and well framed for 2k last year - so 1500 unframed might be OK... you might have t pay a bit more, his pieces are doing well in recent auctions |

As for the hand finishing - the original owner actually helped Conor recover a stolen OG painting that was hanging in a hotel (hanging on its side!) and he gifted him the A/P with a mini pencil drawing of the stolen painting. I've a few emails and pictures to confirm but don't want to show the actual image as it can be traced back to the people involved.
