"Life Is Better In Colour" has been a few years in the making. The image was first used for my solo exhibition in Tokyo, Japan in 2010.
Many hours of reworking layers, hand cutting stencils and painting test sprays have gone into this screen print and I feel I have finally been able to produce an extremely high quality screen print that does justice to the image!

Firstly Each of the screens were produced by hand sprayed stencils. Each layer has been hand cut and then spray painted onto a plastic film, from that exact film the screens were produced!
So the prints are more or less like hand sprayed editions!
As you can imagine hours of cutting has gone into the production of this screen print!


This is by far the highest quality print I am yet to produce.
"Life Is Better In Colour" is made up of 11 layers of pure lovingly spread ink!
Hand printed onto a very heavy Somerset paper using metallic, ultra vibrant and glossy inks!

Hi chaps,
I've not had much time of recent to get on the forum and post like I used to.
Finally found some time to cut and paint some new images, these are test sprays on paper so its good to see if and what needs tweaking in the stencils and colours .
I have a backlog of images awaiting to be painted so hopefully I can get some more done and posted up.
