Of course if I had that kind of money to spend on art it would probably be on a unique piece as well. But the interesting thing is that Banksy is still relatively unknown in the US. Shocking but true. Once US collectors get on board (which they will) Banksy hopefully will be taking it to new heights. Hence, my thoughts on Kate.

He could turn out to be the next 80's art deco phenom Patrick Nagel.

Agree with you though - in 5-10 years it wouldn't surprised me if these are changing hands at 50K GBP.
