Not sure if you are aware but this work was heavily faked, and even sothebys and christies unknowingly sold fakes. Since then there has been a crackdown on this and other lamda prints. Given youa re in the UK, can you secure a HIAC cert? or can we purchase based on approval from proper authorities? Surprised no one raised this here....... It looks like you're buying it immediately....

I agree that 5k is a good price for this, but the 18K at Phillips also sounds a bit on the high side to me...
Can you elaborate on eyestorm selling forgeries, had never heard of that, but if that is the case then you raise a valid point and many would be interested to know !
