Pejac • Meadow Print, by andyroo0312 on Jul 17, 2015 13:44:44 GMT 1, The White Stag has a message for you. Hunters of old pursued the miraculous stag, not because they expected to kill it, but because it led them in the joy of the chase to new and fresh adventures, and so to capture happiness. You may look on the White Stag as the true spirit of Scouting, springing forward and upward, ever leading you onward to leap over difficulties, to face new adventures in your active pursuit of the higher aims of Scouting I can see Baden Powell with tears streaming down his cheeks right now. This is a beautiful print and makes me feel a little dirty for liking my venison bloody.

Some might say the same about your Walker that just arrived. Why does everyone need to be negative around here? Goodness, why bother commenting on something you don't like? Just overlook and move along.
I actually like the print. I think it's a powerful image.

Personally don't mind people providing their personal pov, negative or positive it's all subjective and that's interesting.
The image is great so his pov is wrong but interesting nonetheless

Completely agree that some might well say similar about the Walker, for me that's more about the artist and a rare chance to get an affordable HPM. Surely as a moderator, you should be encouraging discussion, rather than everyone stating they love an image. I like Pejac, he's got some interesting ideas, but for me this isn't a particularly strong example and the composition of the print looks rather average particularly compared to the original. But maybe if you have a nice log cabin in the woods this could work well. .

Can't see anything wrong with letiss expressing his opinion on a print being sold by an established artist. I don't agree with letiss and I agree with you. I find it powerful image too. But we can't all like everything, and a level headed discussion about the art shouldn't be discouraged imo. I do feel differently about emerging artists showing their work personally amd sales threads, as per a recent debate with met.

I have said that because the price of last Zachary and I was afraid that the print would be at 400 euros : I just won 200 euros at the betting 2 weeks ago and I have kept it for this print. As I don't go on holidays ( I am not rich ), but in my Burgundy family , it will be ( if I can get one, as I heard maybe there is already some reserved ones ) , my hot Xmas present ! :-)

Sorry for my negativity expressing disappointment at the apparent lack of handfinishing like the previous prints. Thought debate and opinions were welcomed but obviously not though your personal attack on a member is apparently ok! Strange to say the least.

There was no personal attack on anyone. I wouldn't mind the Walker on my wall. Don't create issues where there is none.
Wouldn't consider your disappointment in lack of hand finishing negatively directed at the art.
Letisss- sorry for my post directed at you. My intentions were not to add more negativity to the threads. Was looking through the threads, noticed a few that had negativity. Then noticed the 'art is s' thread which....well, I'll just not say anything about that one.... Then I saw your post on this thread. I DID overreact, for that I'm sorry.
I'm all for us discussing pros AND cons of the art that is listed on this forum.
Again, sorry guys&gals.
