Anyone know where 'Flag' settled in price? They seemed to be going for around £2000 and above in good or mint condition. The one on the auction is presently at £2500 and the one at Hang Up £2750.

LTB Banksy Silver flags / Laugh now / Toxic Mary unsigned , by Trevorm on Jul 24, 2015 14:14:17 GMT 1, hi, What value do you put on the TM and hang-up have a flags Anyone know where 'Flag' settled in price? They seemed to be going for around £2000 and above in good or mint condition. The one on the auction is presently at £2500 and the one at Hang Up £2750. I'm not sure that they've settled. I've had a few of these pass through my hands and the only one in good condition was the first one I picked up about 5 or so years ago - it had been framed straight away - and there was no damage to the edges nor any handling marks.
Imho the good condition Flags will catch and possibly by pass the prices of a lot of the less desired unsigned prints. At a guess, based on my own straw poll of Flags owned I reckon that there are about 400 survivors in good or better condition.
I've just managed to negotiate the return of my first one. It's now a keeper. I wouldn't sell it for the kind of money quoted above.
Message to the OP - Get in while you can even at £2,500.00. But I'm biased, I've grown to like the image and concept of the piece.

Ta for your thoughts trevorm. They don't seem to come up for sale to often and when they do its tough to find one in good condition. I purchased one in very good condition this year which was also framed after purchase. Doesn't even have any of the light surface scratches I've seen on others in good nick and was fortunate to get it for a very good price. Haven't really paid any attention to sales prices since so was just wondering where things were at. I'm surprised this print never got more love - its a cracking image.
Also to the OP - there's another Flag listed here www.wallstreetgallery.co.uk/#!silver-flag/c1tpt no price shown and don't know anything about the gallery however

Very likely true, I appreciate it's rare to get a deal on anything Banksy wise.. However got a great deal on a silver flag by chance earlier this year, right place, right time. Got lucky

LTB Banksy Silver flags / Laugh now / Toxic Mary unsigned , by Howard Johnson on Jul 25, 2015 0:59:35 GMT 1, Personally, I would pull the trigger on a mint flags for at or maybe even above the cost of some of the other lower end u/s pieces, and avoid the ones with damage. In terms of investment I think its a bit underrated. The metallic stock that its printed on is pretty damn badass, and as mentioned above the majority of them are riddled with condition issue. Plus, people tend to pay a premium for prints with special attributes (ie diamond dust), and its easy to see the metallic stock being a big selling point down the line. My only other tidbit of advice is to try and find one that has never been rolled. I was chatting with my framer about this print and he mentioned that the majority of ones he sees are scratched to hell having only been tubed once or twice.
