That’s what I thought. The seller claimed that there was 5000 made and only 2000 that were sold/given away during the 5 weeks. Sounds fishy.

hard to belive they would of had that many (+2k) left over. this was not a big budget production, but was pretty planned out with lots of attention paid to detail. (typical artist right, Lots of time but no money)
they staggered the releases of the ballons. its not like they had a stand where you could go by them. some wierdo would pop out all of a sudden with them @ random times of the viewing slots. so im pretty confident they planned accordingly not to have to many left overs. Min production runs for custom balloons are not that much either. There is not much per piece cost difference between 1K and 5K.
